It is the most southern mountain in the Annapurna range. Mardi is the lowest trekking mountain in Nepal, and possibly the least frequently hiked or explored. The Mardi Himal Trek is a relatively new route. The main route goes up the East Side via icy terrain, crossing a 5,200-meter plateau.

The Mardi Himal trek, like all of the Annapurna region's trekking trails, has enchanted many visitors with its spectacular mountain views and environs. The sceneries that surround the Mardi Himal trek region are extremely breathtaking. No surprise so many people visit these lovely locations with amazing natural beauty, which are flanked by majestic Annapurna ranges peaks in the Mardi Himal trek.

The Mardi Himal trek exposes you to unexplored terrain. You can also observe the lovely Modi Khola as well as the Hiunchuli Valley. In the path, you are going to be intrigued by the panorama of the entire Annapurna Himalayan range which consists of Annapurna I (8091m), II (7937m), III (7855m), IV (7525m), Annapurna south(7,819 m), Dhaulagiri I (8,163m), Dhaulagiri II(7751m), Mardi Himal(5,588 m), Nilgiri(6,940 m), Himchuli(6,441 m), Machhapuchhare(6,991m), Varaha Shikhar(7,847 m) and other majestic mountains.

Mardi Himal Trek additionally serves as a cultural vacation as you become acquainted with many ethnic groups like Magars, Tamangs, Gurungs, and Brahmins along the trekking trail. You will stroll through an incredible rhododendron woodland and pass through some unspoiled countryside, terrace farms, lush green valleys, and waterfalls and cascades.

Despite being considered an "off-the-beaten-path" walk, The Mardi Himal Trek offers breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks of Annapurna South (7219 m), Annapurna III (8091 m), Machapuchare (6993 m), and other peaks, as well as rich green forest, stunning landscape, and some remoteness.

The Mardi Himal trek journey is one that will stay with you for the rest of your life. The panoramic beauty and fascinating environment are always going to be something you remember. The flora changes to classic 'cloud forest' as the trail climbs, including lichens, mosses, varieties of orchids, and tree ferns housed by the tougher trees. There are numerous spontaneous windows in the forests that lead to breathtaking views of Hiuchuli as well as the knife-sharp crossing to Annapurna South. To your left, you will find the Modi Khola Valley, which leads up toward the Annapurna Sanctuary.

After a hike of roughly five hours, we will arrive at Low Camp (3,150m) for lunch, this is the point of departure for the day, and we will enjoy the afternoon acclimating at altitude. Despite being surrounded by woodland, there are stunning views of the increasingly near 'Fishtail' to the north. Finally, we end our day at a guesthouse.
