Limi Valley Trekking

Limi Valley is newly explored trekking destination and officially opened for the trekkers in 2002. Extending from the boarder of the Himalayan pass Hilsa and the Chang La between Nepal and Tibet, Limi valley is a hidden valley in the district of Humla, one of the most remote districts of Nepal. The trekkers in this trekking can connect the people of Humla district. An isolated and wild valley offers wilderness of the adventure in the remote area of Nepal.

Limi Valley trekking commences from Nepaljung to Simikot by flight. Simikot is the district headquarter of Himla district from where the trekking starts. Nara La ( 4500m.) is the first high pass you will encounter with which offers one of the spectacular vistas of mountains. Heading towards the north from this high pass, trekkers reach to Limi Valley and they find if simply incredibale. The picturesque villages the trekkers can view are the villages of Hilga, Til and Jang and the people are really kind-hearted and hospitable.they can also view the gopma named Rizing Ling Gompa which is 100 years old. From Limi Valley, the trekkers have to encounter with the second high pass named Nyalu La from where they can witness Mount Kailash, holy mountain in Tibet.  And then, tourists descent to the Selima Tso Lake and go back to Simikot via Kermi.
