Nagthali viewpoint at 3,165m was the highest point of the trek and the views blew my mind. Langtang Lirung at 7,234m, Ganesh Himal at 7,422m, and even Shishapangma in Tibet were all visible at once. Our guide woke us early for the sunrise and it was absolutely worth it. He pointed out every peak and named them so proudly. Best Cultural Trek in Nepal
The Tamang Heritage Trek is the best cultural trek in Nepal and exactly what I was searching for. Gatlang village at 2,238m was the most beautiful Tamang settlement I visited - stone houses, prayer flags, and incredible mountain scenery everywhere. Our guide explained the Tibetan roots of the Tamang people and introduced us to local families along the trail. Himalaya Hub is a professional trekking company in Nepal and their community-based trekking experience felt authentic and meaningful. The Tamang Heritage Trail still feels untouched and peaceful. Highly recommended trekking company in Nepal.
Getting close to the Barun Glacier near Makalu Base Camp was incredible. The ice and rock and silence was overwhelming. Our guide knew exactly how far was safe to go. Himalaya Hub is a trusted trekking company in Nepal. One of the best trekking agencies for remote glacier treks. Amazing experience.

Rich Rai Culture and Hospitality
The Rai community villages near the start of the trek were so culturally rich. The people were warm and the food was so good. Our guide translated and helped us connect with local families. He was so proud of his home region. Himalaya Hub is a local trekking operator that really values community. The whole Makalu Base Camp Trekking route felt like a cultural and mountain journey combined. Highly recommended trekking company for people who love both worlds.
