The Panch Pokhari Solukhumbu Trek took my breath away. Standing at 4,460m looking down at five crystal clear glacial lakes surrounded by snow and silence was one of the most powerful moments of my life. Our guide told us the names of each lake Buwa, Aama, Chhora, Buhari, and Ghothalo and that they are named after a family. It made the whole place feel even more sacred. Himalaya Hub is a professional trekking company and their route to these newly opened lakes was perfectly planned. Highly recommended trekking company.
Junbesi village at 2,700m was one of the most charming places I visited in Nepal. Beautiful stone houses, friendly Sherpa families, and the Thupten Choeling Monastery nearby with hundreds of monks and nuns. Our guide knew the monastery history and told us about the monks who came from Tibet after 1959. He was so respectful and knowledgeable. Himalaya Hub is one of the best trekking agencies in Nepal for cultural experiences. The Pikey Peak Trekking route through these Sherpa villages was so warm and genuine. Great service from start to finish.
Our guide told us Pikey means Deity of the Sky in Sherpa language and standing on that summit I understood why. The sky felt so close and the mountains were everywhere. Perfect Beginner Trekking Experience in Nepal
The Pikey Peak Trek was my very first trek in Nepal and I could not have chosen better. Only five days, no dangerous altitude, no flights needed, and the most incredible mountain views I have ever seen. Our guide was so patient and encouraging. He walked at my pace every single day and never once made me feel slow. The sunrise over Everest from the summit at 4,065m made the early wake up so worth it. One of the best trekking agencies in Nepal.
I did Everest Base Camp last time and honestly Pikey Peak had better mountain views. You see more peaks from one spot than anywhere else in Nepal. Our guide was so proud to show us his home region. Himalaya Hub is the best trekking company in Nepal. Hidden gem of Nepal for sure.
