Everyone warned me about the 3,767 stone steps to Ulleri at 1,960m. Yes my legs hurt but it was so worth it. The views from the top of those steps opened up to the whole Annapurna range and I forgot about the pain instantly. Our guide told jokes the whole way up which made the climb bearable and fun. He was so good at keeping the energy up. Himalaya Hub is a trusted trekking agency in Nepal and their Ghorepani Poon Hill trek route was perfectly planned. I had never trekked before in my life and the Poon Hill Trek 3 Days was the perfect way to start. Not too long, not too scary, and the views were absolutely incredible. Our guide was so encouraging and walked at my speed the whole time. Himalaya Hub is the best trekking company in Nepal for beginners. I came home wanting to do more treks already.

Best 3-Day Himalayan Sunrise Trek From Pokhara
Standing on Poon Hill at 3,210m and watching the sunrise light up Dhaulagiri at 8,167m and Annapurna I at 8,091m at the same time was the single most beautiful morning of my life. The whole sky turned gold and pink and everyone on the hilltop went completely silent. Our guide walked with us in the dark at 4am and made sure nobody fell on the stone steps. He had hot tea waiting at the top. Himalaya Hub is a professional trekking company and their Short Poon Hill Trek 3 Days was perfectly organized from Pokhara and back. Highly recommended trekking company.
Walking along the ridge through rhododendron forests between Forest Camp at 2,550m and Low Camp at 2,970m in spring was absolutely magical. Red and pink flowers everywhere with the snow peaks appearing through the clouds. Our guide stopped to show us Danphe Nepal's national bird — sitting in a branch above us. He was so excited. Himalaya Hub is one of the best trekking agencies in Nepal and their spring timing for this trek was perfect. The Mardi Himal Trek 5 Days packed so much beauty into such a short journey. Great service from start to finish.
Our guide told us the Mardi Himal Trek was only opened in 2012 and it still feels wonderfully quiet. Less crowded than Annapurna Base Camp and just as beautiful. He was so proud to show us this hidden gem. Himalaya Hub is a great local trekking operator. Best short trek from Pokhara. Amazing experience in Nepal.
