Upper Dolpo showed me a different Nepal. The trans-Himalayan landscape is dry and dramatic and nothing like the green valleys down south. Himalaya Hub is a remote trek specialist and their planning was flawless. Our guide was patient and knowledgeable and made the cultural stops so meaningful. Saldang village at 3,770m was my favorite - stone houses, barley fields, and kind people. Himalaya Hub is a professional trekking company and I felt that professionalism every day. Highly recommended trekking company for serious trekkers.
We had a great time doing the PoonHill hike with our wonderful guide Prakash and porter Dharmendra! They were incredibly knowledgeable about the entire hiking experience and the trail. During the entire time they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and made sure communication went smooth with everyone we met. We ran into some health issues during the trek and they handled it amazingly and proffessionally. We felt completely safe with them and are so happy we got to know them and a bit of their culture. You could tell that they were seasoned adventurers. The trek itself offered stunning views of mountains such as Annapurna, and walks trough jungle and hills. Definetely recommend Prakash and Dharmendra, as well as the PoonHill, for those who want a more managable hike. Happy with our experience!
Upper Dolpo was the hardest thing I ever did. Jungben La Pass at 5,550m pushed me to my limit but our guide from Himalaya Hub never let me quit. He was so encouraging. Chharka Bhot village at 4,300m was freezing but beautiful. Best trekking company in Kathmandu.

Safe and Reliable Trek in Nepal
Upper Dolpo is wild and remote but I never felt unsafe for a single day. Himalaya Hub organized everything perfectly. Our guide checked on us constantly and his experience really showed. Shey La Pass at 5,010m was beautiful and challenging. Trusted trekking company Nepal.

Shey Phoksundo Lake Trek Review Nepal
Shey Phoksundo Lake alone is worth the whole trip. The turquoise water surrounded by cliffs is unreal. Upper Dolpo Circuit Trek with Himalaya Hub was tough but so rewarding. Our guide was kind and made sure we acclimatized properly. Yangze village felt like the edge of the world. Himalaya Hub is a reliable tour operator in Nepal and their camping setup was excellent. Tibetan Buddhist culture everywhere you look. I came back as a different person. Great service from start to finish and I mean that completely.
