Wonderful trekking in Nepal

My trek to Annapurna took place in April 2017. It was a wonderful time and I was lucky to see even more, than I expected. The trip was very well organized thanks to my trekking guide Ramkumar Bhatta. He helped me with everything. At that time the route was unexpectedly overcrowded and there were more people, than beds to sleep. It was really hard to find a place to stay. Some people slept in dining halls, some even outside in tents, but I had my bed in every place, where we stopped for the night. And thanks to him I was lucky to spend the night at ABC. Very few people did and many came to the camp from down, missing beautiful sunrise. I recommend Ramkumar and this company to everyone, who decides to go trekking in Nepal.

Professionalism every step of the way

I was impressed by the level of professionalism that Himalaya Hub Adventure provided throughout both of the treks that I did with them. The first one was supposed to be an 18-day trek going through two of the mountain passes. Unfortunately there was bad weather on the way... so I decided to change the itinerary. We ended up going directly to the Gokyo Lakes which surpassed all expectations. My guide Yekal Yatri Suresh explained to me every option we had. He was always willing to take photos of me during the trek, constantly checking if I had AMS (acute mountain sickness). Luckily I didn't have that problem. His English is impeccable, so communicating wasn't a problem either. I also hired a porter to carry one of my backpacks, he was also very reliable. Flying in and out of Lukla is a whole different experience, scary, yet an adrenaline rush. Then I went on a shorter trek from Pokhara to Ghorepani in the Annapurna region. This time my guide was Raju Khanal, a very experienced guide. Right off the bat I was amazed by his professionalism and knowledge. It was an short, easy trek to Ghorepani and we shared stories along the way. Raju also speaks Russian by the way. So if you are thinking about trekking in Nepal Himalaya Hub Adventures will provide you with the kind of service you need so that you can enjoy more the experience rather than having to worry about finding a place to spend the night. These guys are professionals.

Perfect trip in Nepal!!

I've visited Nepal at around April~May 2017 and Himalaya Hub Adventures made my trip an amazing one. It was very much productive, well organized and tourist-friendly so I coudn't find anything unsatisfied. I didn' have detailed plan for my trip but a rough one before I met Himalaya Hub Adventures. I just got some dates and Himalaya Hub set up every details including transportation and hospitality. They proposed a customized itinerary after some conversation and I could quickly get a package of itinerary, vouchers and tickets in document. Next morning me and my trekking guide started tour to Annapurna area which lasted 5 days afterwards. My companion from Himalaya Hub, Mr. Nawaraj Sodari, was a nice young guy with several years of professional experience in trekking. He was so professional, trustworthy as well as kind and friendly, he knew every routes and guesthouses on the way and was also aware of every potential risk on the way. I am not so experienced in trekking/mountine however I could enjoy all the way up and down because he took care of me with responsible attitude, focusing very much on health and safety. I will contact him and trek with him again when I come to Nepal next time. I had a great time in Nepal for their detail-oriented plan which made my trip so productive and comfortable. I would highly recommend Himalaya Hub Adventure and Nawaraj Sodari for my friends and family who are inteested with tour in Nepal.

My partner and I went on a 7 day trek to Poon Hill in the Annapurna region, organized by Himalaya Hub and it was amazing. The whole trip was well organized, including our transfers from Kathmandu and a stopoverat Chitwan on the way back. Which meant that the whole trek was stress free and we didn't have to worry about a thing!

Annapurna Base Camp with Nirmal

We (group of three) met Prakash at the airport via a referral from his friend at the pre paid taxi counter. Usually I don't like or accept this tactic, but I'm glad we made an exception on this occasion. Prakash travelled with us in our taxi to our hotel and we chatted about our trekking plans. Prakash was extremely polite and informative, and is very proud of Himalaya Hub. The next morning we met Prakash at his office, discussed our options and prices and booked the ABC trek for 11 days (including Poon Hill). Our guide was Nirmal (Babu!) and he was fantastic. All we had to do each day was pack our bags and walk. Nirmal looked after our accommodation, our permits, he took our food orders, he was our waiter, he refilled our water bottles, he sought extra blankets (I'm a soft touch in the cold), he was our photographer/videographer and he is a great dancer, singer and riddle master.* As for the trek itself, it is all at your own pace. That said, be prepared for a tough but rewarding slog to ABC and back. We are all fit by Australian standards, however add a 12kg pack, mountains, stairs (so many stairs...) and a little altitude to the mix and your body doesn't know what's hit it. The good news is that you adjust well after a few days, and calf soreness becomes a natural state. Our longest day of walking was 7 hours (including an hour lunch break), on average we did 5 hours a day. I do not recommended this trek for anyone with dodgy knees. TIP: take extra cash for snacks, treats and entry fees (eg Poon Hill and the Jindhu Hot Springs) *not actually a good singer
