Himalaya Hub took us somewhere truly special. The Tsum Valley Trek goes through parts of Nepal that feel completely untouched. Our guide was so passionate about the culture and shared so many stories about the villages we passed through. Rachen Gompa was one of the highlights, so quiet and full of color. The team from Himalaya Hub is a reliable tour operator and their local knowledge is hard to match. I came here for the mountains but left with a deeper love for the people and the culture. The Tsum Valley Trek is not easy but Himalaya Hub makes it feel possible. Our guide was full of energy even on the longest days and always had a kind word when the trail got steep. Samagaon at 3,520m was a beautiful rest day. We just walked around the village and drank tea all afternoon. Himalaya Hub is the best trekking company in Kathmandu and their love for these mountains is obvious. Safe and well organized I never once felt unsure about what was happening. This trek will stay with me forever.
I was nervous about the altitude but Himalaya Hub planned the acclimatization days so well I barely felt it. The Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek was challenging in the best way. Our guide was with us every step and talked us through the hard moments near Larkya La Pass at 5,106m. Tsum Valley was so different, calm and ancient and full of life. Our guide was calm and funny and made every single day feel like an adventure. The Nile village in Tsum Valley at 3,361m was my favorite moment, so simple and beautiful. The high sections near Manaslu pushed my limits but in the best way. This is a highly recommended trekking company and if you want a real experience in the Himalayas they are the ones to call.
