Started off suspicious as the boss Prakash looped us into a deal almost instantly from the airport, everything was too easy but I am happy to say that that was the beginning of one of the best treks of my life. The staff at the office were very helpful and organised everything for us, but our guide Ramkumar Bhatta was really where the magic started. He was an understanding and kind guide who made everything smooth and easy for me even though I was sick for most of the journey. We had a great overall time and passing Thorong la pass was definitely a highlight for us since it was uncertain with my health whether that was possible. Ramkumar was a very good guide who made us laugh with his quirks. He had an expert morning door knock service. Even after the trek he gave us the best possible advice and booked everything for us to get back to Kathmandu. Overall a very good trek!!
I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Himalaya Hub. My friend and I planned our trip to Nepal and originally thought about doing the Annapurna Circuit by ourselves. After meeting and speaking with Prakash, who was extremely kind and patient, we decided to use a guide. Prakash gave us a ton of information and options for our trek. He was incredibly understanding and patient as we made our plan on a tighter budget.
Our time spent trekking was absolutely amazing! Our guide, Ananta, quickly gained our trust and made us feel so well taken care of. Ananta has had tons of experience trekking and he was always there to answer our questions. Throughout our trek, Ananta was encouraging and supportive. Overall, Ananta was an amazing guide and we enjoyed lots of laughs along the way. I highly recommend using a guide on your trek - and If possible, call Ananta!
My time spent in Nepal would not have been the same without the help and guidance from everyone at Himalaya Hub. I strongly recommend them for any and all adventures you plan in Nepal! Can’t wait to come back ASAP!!!
Annapurna Circuit Trek - 13 days of fun times ft. Ramkumar
The trek was so much fun thanks to Himalaya Hub and in particular our good friend and guide in the mountains, Ramkumar. From the get-go we felt right at home, receiving not one but two FREE Masala Teas from Prakash and his cronies at Himalaya Hub. Within 15 minutes of entering the office, the deal was sorted and we were on our merry way.
The trek itself was amazing, and our guide Ram knew all the best shortcuts to save us the time and muscle soreness, and was able to offer great advice when we started to feel under the weather.
Overall we had a fun time and will most likely return again to do the EBC trek.
Lovely experience. It was our first trek, and it is considered to be a difficult one, but Ramkumar is an experienced and professional guide.
He led us along and adapted the itinerary to ensure that we would make it even though we were doubting our capabilities.
Himalaya Hub were also professional in their planning of our itinerary and holiday.
Highly recommend both the agency and Ramkumar as your guide!

Annapurna 4-Day Trek thru Poon Hill with Ramkumar
I had planned to find a trekking company once I got my feet on the ground in Nepal, but as it turns out they found me! In the taxi on the way from the airport to my lodging a rep from Himalaya Hub Adventure pitched me on some of the things to do. He wasn't pushy at all, very warm and friendly. I decided to drop by the next day to the office. I was greeted by the owner and we sat down in his office to discuss the options. The 4 day trek was within my budget and sounded like a good fit for my timetable. I was paired up with Ramkumar, a guide who has several years experience. I flew up to Pokhara (and flew back to Kathmandu at the end), which I would recommend doing. It's a 30min flight versus a 7 hour bus trip. Ramkumar traveled with me and got me settled in to the hotel in Pokhara before setting out the next morning. I happened to have booked the same trek as 2 wonderful Belgian ladies and we had a fantastic time the whole 4 days. Ramkumar knew quite a bit of information, and it was almost impossible to stump him with questions. He was very accommodating and took great care to make sure that I was satisfied... which I was. Very much so. He became a good friend and I hope to see him again in this life! Maybe in Nepal or maybe we'll trek the hills of Hollywood together. September was a perfect time to trek. There was very little rain, and paths were not crowded at all, unlike other times of the year. -Seth
