Tamang Culture Was So Rich
The Tamang villages along the Ganesh Himal Trekking route were culturally rich in ways I did not expect. Prayer flags on every roof, monks chanting in small gompas, and families weaving outside their doors. Our guide was from a Tamang family and shared so much about his own traditions. He made every cultural stop feel personal and real. Himalaya Hub is a reliable tour operator Nepal and their cultural immersion approach was so meaningful. Great service from start to finish. I came home with a full heart and full camera.
The landscape in Lower Dolpo is like Mars but more beautiful. The rain shadow area means dry cliffs, blue skies, and wide open valleys. Our guide from Frontier Himalaya was excellent and always planned the best campsites and rest stops. Shey Phoksundo Lake was the most stunning natural sight I have ever seen. The Tibetan culture made the journey even more special.

Poon hill trek
My wife and I went treking to Poon Hill with our guide Puru, who was absolutely amazing and his porter Ram who is also amazing and I still cant comprehend how much he carries. Puru and Ram are so nice we are coming back in March to do the Annapurna circuit with Puru and Ram as we had such an amazing time with them. Nepal you have been amazing see you next year

First Time Doing a Restricted Area Trek
This was my first time doing a restricted area trek and Mountain Edge Nepal handled all the permits and paperwork very smoothly. The Lower Dolpo route is challenging but our guide made it feel safe. He explained a lot about the Bon Po religion and old monasteries along the way. Crossing Numa La Pass at 5,309m was the hardest thing I have done but also one of the proudest moments of my life.
