We had an incredible experience with Himalaya Hub Adventure. The 12-day Manaslu Circuit trek was excellent value, very well organised, and exceeded expectations.
A huge thank you to our guides, Roshan and Bipin, who were outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt safe, comfortable, and well looked after. Roshan was especially organised at the guesthouses and meal times, quickly getting us settled in after each day’s trekking and clearly explaining the plan for the next day.
I also have a severe nut allergy, which Roshan managed with great care throughout the trek, something I really appreciated.
If you’re considering trekking in Nepal, I couldn’t recommend Himalaya Hub Adventure highly enough.

We had the most incredible experience with Himalayan Hub Adventure from start to finish. Everything was organised so smoothly, and the entire trip exceeded our expectations.
A huge thank you to our guides, Roshan and Bippin, who were absolutely outstanding. They were professional, knowledgeable, kind, and went above and beyond every single day to make sure we were safe, comfortable, and enjoying every moment of the trek. Their local knowledge, encouragement, and sense of humour made the whole experience even more special.
The scenery was unforgettable, but it was really the people who made the trip. Roshan and Bippin treated us like family and made us feel supported the entire way. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their passion for what they do truly shows.
If you’re considering trekking in Nepal, I could not recommend Himalayan Hub Adventure highly enough. This was genuinely a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we are already dreaming about coming back for another adventure with them!

I had an amazing time doing the Manaslu Circuit Trek. These guys were very helpful in finding a bunch of similar solo travellers who I ended up making best friends with and had such a blast with. We ended up with 6 travellers from various nationalities and 2 guides which was a whole different dynamics to work out for but then the guides Roshan and Bipin were so good that it turned out really fun and ended up making the whole trip memorable. They were so helpful, supporting and positive. They made the whole trip as effortless as possible and just generally a good laugh. It was a pretty good quality experience with them which I would cherish for long time and would surely recommend to anybody who’s willing to do treks across Nepal.

We did the Poon Hill Trek with our guide Shiva and had a fantastic time together. From the bus ride from Kathmandu, through the start of the trek in Pokhara, to the end of our 5-day trip, everything went smoothly. We couldn't have wished for a better guide than Shiva, as we became good friends over the course of the days. He not only led us through the mountains but also taught us a lot about Nepalese culture. During the day, we hiked through picturesque landscapes, and on the last day, we relaxed in natural hot springs. Every evening, we played card games together and talked and laughed a lot. We definitely hope to be able to trek with Shiva again on future treks.

My mum and I had a wonderful time with our guide Prem from the Himalayahub adventure trekking company! He accommodated us very well. We told him we wanted to take it slowly and he adjusted the itinerary exactly to our wishes. He is very flexible, helped us through the more difficult parts of the trail and knows the way (and what day hikes to do) very well. He also chose very nice places to sleep and eat, the smaller ones instead of the very large ones. We also had nice conversations with him about Nepal. We would definitely recommend him and this company :).

We had an incredible experience trekking the Tsum Valley and Manaslu Circuit with Himalayan Hub and Suresh. Overall we would give them 5 stars.
Our guide, Suresh, was excellent—very knowledgeable about the mountains as well as Tibetan and Nepali culture, and he even helped us pick up some basics of the local languages along the way. He was efficient and organised throughout, consistently choosing quiet, comfortable teahouses with good food. It was clear he had strong relationships with many of the lodge owners, which made our stays even more enjoyable.
The trek itself was absolutely stunning, with amazing views throughout. Himalayan Hub also made the logistics very easy: the booking process was smooth, and Prakash was flexible with our schedule, allowing us to adjust our departure to suit our time in Kathmandu. Collecting the included sleeping bags was simple, and the trekking shop they recommended offered great prices.
A couple of small areas for improvement: communication could have been clearer at times. For example, we weren’t aware in advance that we’d be taking a 10-hour local bus from Kathmandu to the trek start—this was fine for us, but it would have been good to know ahead of time. Similarly, a heads-up that there would be no data or power for several days from Larke Bazar onwards would have helped us prepare better/warn family. We also felt some occasional pressure from our guide to drink.
Overall, though, a fantastic trekking experience with a great company and a knowledgeable guide.

We went on a 10-day trek on Manaslu Circuit with Puru (aka the Mountain Guru) as our guide and Raju (aka Duthe) as our porter. Couldn't have wished for better company and guidance during this beautiful but difficult trek. Puru made sure that we always had the best accomodation with bathroom, gave us the best advice how to deal with altitude sickness, supported us mentally to push to Larkya Pass and knows everything about the trek & surrounding mountains. Raju was the best support system that you could wish for, always smiling, always happy to help and the kindest man you have ever seen. Don't let his looks fool you: he's the strongest man we've ever seen and he would've carried us up those mountain if he needed to. Even bonus points to both of them for arranging beautiful weather!! We would book again with Himalaya Hub in a heartbeat.

I just finished the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Sushil, and Resham, and I can’t thank them enough. I was in pretty rough shape when I started—dealing with an eye infection and on antibiotics for tonsillitis. Since the trip was nonrefundable, I decided to go for it anyway, and Sushil and Resham really stepped up to take care of me. There were so many moments when I wanted to give up, but they encouraged me to keep going. They carried my pack, made sure I stayed hydrated the whole time, and even though I was moving really slowly, they never complained. Sushil was really attentive to the entire group’s needs and made everything flexible, caring for all of us throughout the trek. I successfully completed the whole route, including the acclimatization hikes, and I’m really grateful for their support. I’d definitely recommend them and would happily book future hikes with them! 🙌 🏔️ 😊

I recently completed the Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley trek with Himalayan Hub Adventure, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the technical aspects of the trail to the logistics of a multi-week expedition, the team was flawless.Guide: ShivaShiva is a phenomenal guide. His knowledge of the terrain and local culture, especially within the Tsum Valley, added immense depth to the journey. He has an incredible ability to read the pace of the group and adjust accordingly, ensuring everyone stayed healthy and motivated for the Larkya La pass. His professionalism and calm demeanor made even the most challenging sections of the trek feel manageable and safe.Porter: RasomRasom was equally impressive. The strength and efficiency he displayed throughout the trek were remarkable. My gear was always handled with care, and he consistently arrived at our destinations with a smile, often going out of his way to make sure we were comfortable as soon as we reached the teahouse.

Puru and Robin were our guide and porter for the Tamang Heritage trail and Langtang Valley trek. They were so kind throughout, checking in on us at higher altitudes and reminding us to go slowly to acclimatise better in higher altitudes. We had a great time and they answered our numerous questions about which mountain was which and when it was, indeed, actually a mountain. They also honoured our request to change from staying again at a teahouse in Lama Hotel that we hadn't liked to a different one and organised it all super quickly which was great. Always greeted us with smiles in the morning, made sure we were taken care of and, for our whole trek, we felt welcomed and in a friendly, comfortable environment.Organised very quickly (the day before) and for £420 for 10 days of trekking plus 2 travel days felt very reasonable.

Had an amazing experience on the 12-day Manaslu trek with my guide, Sushil! It was just the two of us for the entire trek, which made the experience feel very personal, and I felt completely comfortable the whole time. I also got along really well with Sushil — he’s friendly, easygoing, and great company, which made the long days of trekking even more enjoyable.Sushil was a brilliant guide throughout, always prioritising safety while showing genuine care and attention, which really added to the overall experience. The schedule was also very flexible under Sushil’s guidance. Thanks to his extensive local knowledge and strong relationships with tea houses and people along the trail, we were able to adapt plans when needed. For example, we pushed ahead a day and skipped a rest day to reach the Nepalese/Tibetan border — something I really appreciated allowing us to look over into Tibet. He also knew exactly what food to recommend at each stop, advising which dishes were best depending on the location.Another thing that stood out was how quickly he understood my trekking style and preferences. In my case, I preferred to push a bit further each day to make the following day easier, with fewer but longer breaks — and he adapted the pace perfectly to suit that.Overall, I would rate the experience 10/10. It was truly unforgettable, and I would highly recommend both Sushil and Himalayan Hub Adventures to anyone looking for an authentic, local Manaslu trekking experience.

Everest Base Camp Trek Difficulty & Preparation
Fitness Level Required
The Himalayan Camp(EBC) is considered moderate to strenuous. While you don’t need to be an elite athlete, a good fitness level is essential for handling the long days of trekking and steep ascents at high altitudes. To prepare, engage in cardiovascular exercises, such as running, cycling, and stair climbing, to build stamina. Focus on endurance training, and include some hill walking or backpacking with a weighted pack to simulate the terrain you’ll encounter. A strong core and leg strength is crucial for the challenging climbs.
Altitude Sickness & Acclimatization Plan
As you ascend and walk to Mount Everest, the altitude becomes a significant challenge. Altitude sickness (AMS) can affect anyone, regardless of fitness level. Symptoms include dizziness, nausea, headaches, and shortness of breath. To minimize the risk of AMS:
Ascend Slowly: Gradual elevation gain is key to allowing your body to acclimatize. Follow the acclimatization schedule, which includes rest days in Namche Bazaar and Dingboche to give your body time to adjust.
Hydrate Properly: Drink at least 3-4 liters of water per day to help your body adjust to high altitudes.
Monitor Symptoms: If you feel unwell at high altitudes, descend immediately to lower altitudes, such as Namche Bazaar.
A typical acclimatization plan includes:
Day 1-2: Arrive in Kathmandu, fly to Lukla (2,840m), trek to Phakding (2,610m).
Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441m), spend the night and rest.
Day 4: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar, short hike to Everest View Hotel.
Day 5: Trek to Tengboche (3,860m), rest and adjust.
