Annapurna Dhampus Sarangkot trek will let you enjoy the view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.

To state the Dhampus Sarangkot trek route in brief, after the sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley, we will drive to Pokhara with the enjoyment of rafting. Then, we will drive to Phedi which is the starting point of our trekking. Then we will trek to the picturesque Dhampus village. From there, we will trek to Sarangkot where we can enjoy the beautiful sunset in the evening. Then, we will hike down to Gothadi and drive back to Pokhara. There in Pokhara, we will enjoy the various sites. Pokhara is a beautiful city and is called the city of Lakes. We will do boating in beautiful Fewa Lake and we will visit the famous Davi’s falls. In Pokhara, we will enter in silent Gupteshwor Cave and visit temples and other beautiful sites. Then, you will be back to Kathmandu by tourist bus and you can depart for your onward destination or we can arrange an additional trip to Chitwan/Lumbini.

Best Photography Spot Near Pokhara

As a landscape photographer, Sarangkot viewpoint delivered incredible shots. Sunrise over the Annapurna massif with Machhapuchhre centered in frame was spectacular. The terraced hillsides below Dhampus village at 1,650m with mountain backdrop made beautiful compositions. Guide Sonam knew every best angle and waited patiently for perfect light. October gave crystal clear visibility daily. Easy access from Pokhara means you can catch golden hour without extreme trekking. Himalaya Hub created photographer-friendly schedule. Essential spot for any photography enthusiast visiting Nepal!

Authentic Gurung Culture in Dhampus Village

Dhampus village at 1,650m offered wonderful authentic Gurung cultural immersion. Staying in a traditional homestay, we experienced daily village life, watched women weaving, and shared meals with local families. The village has a small Gurung museum showcasing traditional costumes and history. Guide Lakpa facilitated beautiful cultural exchanges and translations. The mountain views from nearby Sarangkot were spectacular bonus. Himalaya Hub's community connections made this genuinely authentic. Perfect short trek combining culture and mountains. Absolutely loved the warm hospitality!

Perfect Half-Day Trek From Pokhara

With limited time in Pokhara, the Dhampus Sarangkot day trek was absolutely perfect. Just a short drive from the city then easy walking to Dhampus at 1,650m and up to Sarangkot viewpoint. The Annapurna panorama was spectacular despite the short commitment. Guide Prakash was knowledgeable and efficient with timing. We returned to Pokhara by afternoon with amazing memories. Himalaya Hub organized seamless pickup and drop-off. Perfect solution for travelers with tight schedules wanting Himalayan views. Highly recommend this short adventure!
