Some of the people and trekkers claim that the snow man “Yeti” exists in this region. As Kanchenjungha region is protected by Kanchenjunga Conservation Area Project spreading in the area of 2035 sq. km. , one will be offered with varies species of wildlife, plants and animals including snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, musk deer red panda and others varies species of birds including Amphibian, pheasant, red-billed blue among others.
Commencing the Trek from Suketar Taplejung after a flight by air, ends at the same place. The lush of rhododendron forests and the high alpine terrain beyond the village of Ghunsa, the marvelous sceneries of Kanchenjunga south face. Subsequently, Lapsung La pass, Selele pass an the Yalung Glacier and Kanchenjunga base camp are the major attractions as well as adventures in this trekking.
