Nepal has one international airport: Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). Usually, you fly from Kathmandu to Tenzing-Hillary Airport (LUA) in Lukla to start the Everest Base Camp trek. Due to renovations, domestic flights currently operate from Ramechhap Airport (RHP).

You can obtain a tourist visa at Tribhuvan International Airport. The Government offers 15-day visas for $30 and 30-day visas for $50.
