We trekked Annapurna Panorama with our 9 and 11-year-old children and it was absolutely perfect for families. The trails were well-maintained, daily distances manageable, and Poon Hill sunrise at 3,210m thrilled everyone. Kids loved the tea house experience in Ghorepani at 2,874m and Ghandruk at 1,940m. Guide Dawa was wonderful with children, patient and fun. Himalaya Hub created family-friendly pace with shorter walking days. Best family adventure in Nepal. The mountain views impressed the whole family. Highly recommend for trekking with kids!
As my first trek in Nepal, Annapurna Panorama was absolutely perfect. Moderate trails, comfortable tea houses, and maximum elevation 3,210m at Poon Hill meant no extreme challenges. But the mountain views were world-class - Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre all spectacular. Guide Bishnu was patient and encouraging throughout. Ghandruk village at 1,940m offered authentic Gurung culture. Himalaya Hub designed ideal beginner itinerary. Built my confidence beautifully. Best introduction to Himalayan trekking. Highly recommend for first-timers!

Poon Hill Sunrise Was Absolutely Magical
Waking at 4:30am to climb Poon Hill at 3,210m for sunrise was absolutely worth every early step. Watching the entire Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges turn golden pink as the sun rose was one of the most beautiful moments of my life. The 360-degree mountain panorama with Machhapuchhre centered was breathtaking. Guide Ramesh had hot tea waiting at the summit. Ghorepani village at 2,874m was cozy. Himalaya Hub's timing was perfect. Unforgettable sunrise experience. Highly recommend!

Jomsom Winds Were Intense But Manageable
Everyone warned about Jomsom winds at 2,720m and they were intense! Strong afternoon gusts funneling through the Kali Gandaki Valley are legendary. But our guide Lakpa timed our walking for early mornings when it was calm. By afternoon we were safely indoors enjoying tea and apple pie. The winds are part of Jomsom's character. Muktinath at 3,710m was peaceful and less windy. Himalaya Hub's timing strategy worked perfectly. Don't let wind warnings scare you away. Manageable and worth it!

Apple Orchards and Brandy Were Highlights
The Marpha region at 2,670m is Nepal's apple capital and the orchards were magnificent. We visited family-run orchards, tasted fresh apples, and sampled famous apple brandy at local distilleries. The sweet Marpha apples were incredible. Guide Prakash arranged tastings and explained apple farming traditions. Jomsom at 2,720m had charming apple-themed cafes. Himalaya Hub's itinerary included these authentic experiences perfectly. Delicious cultural immersion. The apple brandy warmed cold evenings beautifully. Unique and memorable trek!
