Dudh Pokhari the third and largest Gokyo Lake at 4,750m was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The turquoise water with Cho Oyu towering behind it looked like a painting. Our guide sat with us on the shore for a long time and nobody said a word. It was that powerful. Himalaya Hub is one of the best trekking agencies in Nepal and their route through all six lakes was perfectly timed. The Gokyo Lake Trek is a sacred and stunning journey. Great service from start to finish.
I chose the Gokyo Valley Trek because I wanted to see Everest without the crowds. Best decision ever. We met maybe ten other trekkers the whole route. Our guide loved the quiet as much as we did. Amazing Ngozumpa Glacier Trekking Adventure
Walking along the Ngozumpa Glacier the largest glacier in Nepal was one of the most dramatic things I have ever experienced. The ice and rock and silence was overwhelming. Our guide explained how the glacier is moving and changing and it made the whole landscape feel alive. He was so knowledgeable about geology. Himalaya Hub is a trusted trekking agency in Nepal and their route along the glacier moraine was perfectly safe. The Gokyo Valley Trekking experience gave me views I never thought possible. Best Gokyo Ri Sunrise Everest View Trek
I did Everest Base Camp two years ago and honestly the Gokyo Valley Trek had better views. Standing on Gokyo Ri at 5,357m and seeing four mountains above 8,000m at once Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu was the most powerful mountain moment of my life. Our guide woke us before sunrise and walked with us in the dark to the summit. He was so calm and encouraged the whole climb. Himalaya Hub is a professional trekking company and their Gokyo Ri Trek route was perfectly planned. Highly recommended trekking company.
