They say Pikey Peak was Sir Edmund Hillary's favorite viewpoint of Everest and now I know why. Standing at the summit at 4,065m and seeing all eight of Nepal's eight-thousanders at once was the most breathtaking moment of my life. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Annapurna all in one single view. Our guide woke us before sunrise and walked with us in the dark to the top. He was so calm and steady and made us feel safe every step. Himalaya Hub is a professional trekking company and their route to this summit was perfectly planned. Highly recommended trekking company.
Ama Dablam at 6,812m followed us the whole trek. Every time I looked up there it was sharp and beautiful against the blue sky. Our guide said it is the most beautiful mountain in Nepal and I believe him. Himalaya Hub is one of the best trekking agencies in Nepal. The Everest Base Camp helicopter trek was the highlight of my life. Knowledgeable guides and porters throughout.

Namche Bazaar on Everest Base Camp Trek
Namche Bazaar at 3,440m was like a little city in the sky. Bakeries, shops, and trekkers from all over the world. Our guide took us to the best bakery and we had apple pie with mountain views. He knew every corner of that town. Himalaya Hub is a reliable tour operator in Nepal and our two days in Namche for acclimatization were perfectly planned. The whole Everest Base Camp trek with helicopter return felt balanced with hard work going up and pure luxury flying back. Amazing experience in Nepal.
Scenic Everest Helicopter Return Views Were Incredible
The 90 minute helicopter ride from Gorakshep back to Kathmandu was insane. Flying over the Khumbu Icefall and seeing Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse from the air was something I never imagined. Our guide waved goodbye at the helipad with the biggest smile. Himalaya Hub is a professional trekking company. Tengboche Monastery Everest Trek Experience
Tengboche Monastery at 3,860m with Ama Dablam at 6,812m right behind it was one of the most powerful sights of my life. Monks were chanting inside and the whole place felt sacred. Our guide removed his shoes and prayed quietly beside us. Himalaya Hub is a trusted trekking agency in Nepal and the cultural stops along the Everest Base Camp trek were so meaningful. The helicopter return gave us extra time at places like this instead of rushing back. Great service from start to finish.
