We trekked for 20 days on the Manaslu circuit, Annapurna circuit, and Poon Hill. I was a solo traveller who joined three others on this trip. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience. We saw, and experienced, everything. From high mountain passes to quaint villages perched in lush valleys.
We were guided on this trek by Raam. He was the absolute best guide we could have had. From impromptu break-outs into Nepalese songs in difficult moments, to insightful information about everywhere we visited. From picking (and eating) jungle fruit, to sharing stories around a log burner in the evenings.
If I was to trek again in Nepal 🇳🇵 (watch out Everest region), I would only want to go with Raam.
I trekked the Manaslu and crossed over into the Annapurna up until Manang. It was a fabulous experience and were blessed with the company, guidance, and not to mention emotional support from Ram, our guide. with 10 years experience of walking in the mountains and from the region itself, Ram answered endless questions!
With a heart of gold, a brill sense of humour and a friendly demeanour, Ram was a great guide and fab to have as part of our motley crew.

We went to Taplejung by bus from Kathmandu, which is 28h of bus!
Shiva agreed to be our guide despite the harsh travel conditions and our desire to have an authentic experience in the Kanchenjunga trek.
Thanks to his good English level, we all became friends rapidly, we had good laugh, we learnt some of the Nepali culture and language.
Shiva knows really well all the Kanchenjunga valley, which was a good bonus for us to learn about this area so far away from any big civilisation and Kathmandu.
He managed perfectly all the accomodation and the food.
Obviously I'm recommending Shiva as the best friend guide for any trek in Nepal!

On my second Himalayan trek to the basecamps of Kanchenjunga our 33year old guide Shiva did everything possible to make this adventure unforgettable.
Not only his service was remarkable, all of us became friends during these 3 weeks. He fit perfectly in our group of 4 young French guys and me.
Shiva watches carefully the needs of all members in his group so everybody feels well guided. I really enjoyed his calm presence his dry humor and his sensational feeling for service.
Important for us was to be flexible on the itinerary.
Due to unpredictable occurrences like weather or sickness the itinerary is never craved in stone on treks in Nepal. We had one spare day left we spent after the trek in Ilam to chill out and enjoy the benefits of civilization.
We payed accommodation and food ourselves, permits busses and jeeps were organized by the organization. Shiva chose the accommodation each night and we were pretty happy with his choices.
We paid 450€ to the organization for 20 days not included acco and food.
