The ridge trail from Low Camp at 2,970m to High Camp at 3,580m was the most spectacular walking I have done in Nepal. Narrow path with Annapurna South on one side and deep valleys on the other, Machhapuchhre straight ahead. Every step offered new panoramic views. Guide Dawa managed the exposed sections confidently. The 12-day trek allowed gradual altitude gain with no sickness. Himalaya Hub's route planning was excellent. Ridge walking enthusiasts must experience this. Absolutely thrilling!

Machhapuchhre Close-Up Was Unreal
Standing at Mardi Himal Base Camp at 4,500m with Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) at 6,993m rising directly above was absolutely surreal. The mountain looked so close I felt I could touch it. The sunrise over the Fishtail face turning gold was breathtaking. Guide Bishnu set perfect pace for acclimatization through rhododendron forests. High Camp at 3,580m was cold but stunning. Himalaya Hub's 12-day itinerary was perfectly planned. Most dramatic mountain proximity I have ever experienced. Unforgettable!

Best Alternative to Crowded ABC Route
Mardi Himal offered everything Annapurna Base Camp does but with a fraction of the crowds. The ridge walking from Low Camp to High Camp at 3,580m was spectacular with Machhapuchhre dominating the skyline. We saw maybe 30 trekkers total compared to hundreds on ABC. Guide Ramesh was exceptional and knew every quiet viewpoint. The 12-day pace allowed perfect acclimatization to 4,500m at Base Camp. Himalaya Hub designed the ideal itinerary. Best hidden gem trek in Annapurna region. Highly recommend!

Best Photography Spot Near Pokhara
As a landscape photographer, Sarangkot viewpoint delivered incredible shots. Sunrise over the Annapurna massif with Machhapuchhre centered in frame was spectacular. The terraced hillsides below Dhampus village at 1,650m with mountain backdrop made beautiful compositions. Guide Sonam knew every best angle and waited patiently for perfect light. October gave crystal clear visibility daily. Easy access from Pokhara means you can catch golden hour without extreme trekking. Himalaya Hub created photographer-friendly schedule. Essential spot for any photography enthusiast visiting Nepal!

Authentic Gurung Culture in Dhampus Village
Dhampus village at 1,650m offered wonderful authentic Gurung cultural immersion. Staying in a traditional homestay, we experienced daily village life, watched women weaving, and shared meals with local families. The village has a small Gurung museum showcasing traditional costumes and history. Guide Lakpa facilitated beautiful cultural exchanges and translations. The mountain views from nearby Sarangkot were spectacular bonus. Himalaya Hub's community connections made this genuinely authentic. Perfect short trek combining culture and mountains. Absolutely loved the warm hospitality!
