I did Everest Base Camp two years ago and honestly the Gokyo Valley Trek had better views. Standing on Gokyo Ri at 5,357m and seeing four mountains above 8,000m at once Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu was the most powerful mountain moment of my life. Our guide woke us before sunrise and walked with us in the dark to the summit. He was so calm and encouraged the whole climb. Best Everest Panorama Trek Experience with Stunning Mountain Views
I saw Mount Everest at 8,849m without going all the way to base camp and it was one of the most incredible moments of my life. The Everest Panorama Trek took us to Tengboche at 3,860m where the sunrise over Everest and Ama Dablam literally made me cry. Our guide was so knowledgeable about every peak and every village. He made the whole Sherpa culture come alive with his stories. Khiraule Gumba monastery at 2,600m is surrounded by tall pine trees and is over 200 years old. Our guide told us that silent meditation actually originated from this monastery. That story gave me chills. The monks were so welcoming. Himalaya Hub is one of the best trekking agencies in Nepal for spiritual and cultural treks. Cultural Experience in Solukhumbu
The Kirat Rai villages near Bung Mahakulung at 1,700m were so culturally rich. People were so welcoming and the way they live is so connected to the land. Our guide was from the region and shared stories about his own community. He was so proud and generous with his knowledge. Himalaya Hub is a professional trekking company and their cultural immersion approach was so meaningful. The Solukhumbu Panch Pokhari Trek showed me a side of Nepal I had never seen before.
