Review of Surya, trekking guide for Himalayan Hub. I met Surya while traveling on a bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara. I was heading for the Annapurna area and had been looking for a guide. As soon as he walked on the bus, I sensed that he was a trekking guide and I wanted to speak to him. We struck up a conversation. I asked him if he was free but he was in the middle of two jobs and was busy at the time. We stayed in touch and became friends. Ultimately I did never did use him to physically guide a trek for me. However, over the following weeks, he gave me tons of advice through WhatsApp about the Annapurna area that I could never have gotten from a guidebook. He volunteered his personal time and knowledge and he did everything he could to remotely assist me in my solo trekking. He did this without asking anything in return. Twice he invited me to his house to meet his family and to have lunch - experiences that I will never forget.
He has the qualities of being trustworthy, generous , honorable, and very knowledgeable. I think that he is a great ambassador for Nepal and the Nepalese people and a great example of the best qualities of a good human being.
Fantastic experience. The Annapurna Basecamp trek was well set out to give the best possible experience. My guide Rupesh was fantastic and helped keep me motivated.

Fantastic experience
Spent 2 months in Nepal and used Himalaya Hub for my treks. I did the Manaslu/Annapurna Circuit and the Everest Three Passes. Sushil (my guide) was with me for both and he was fantastic. I will be returing to Nepal in the future and will definitely use Himalaya Hub for more treks. Highly recommended 💯

What an amazing experience! We arrived in Nepal from India exhausted and luckily met Prakesh at our hostel. We set up our Annapurna trip in no time and while we weren't prepared Prakesh set us up with rental gear and all the essentials for our journey. We had a guide (Ram) and porter (Biru) who were absolutely amazing to have on our adventure. Our trip was filled with good vibes and so much laughter. These two really made our experience easy and so effortless. The accommodations the entire trip were clean and everyone was so friendly. We honestly could not have asked for a better trip! So thankful for this entire crew making it such an unforgettable experience. From the amazing views, good company, and easy planning it doesn't get much better! We highly recommend booking with this crew, from solo travelers (females included) to large groups these guys will make sure you are safe and comfortable the entire way.
