Great Trek with Kumar

I arrived at Kathmandu Airport and straight away met Peru who jumped in the taxi with me. I told him I was planning to walk the Annapurna Circuit and after sitting down and discussing it, he set me up with a plan and a guide for the trip. All my permits, transport and day by day plan were organised for me. It was super easy. The first morning of the trek I met Kumar, who led me around the circuit. I was initially hesitant about having a guide, but Kumar was great. Every night he organised with the tea houses to find a room for me, he managed all my dinner orders, and or course answered any questions about the mountains and the route as we went. He was very professional, giving me nightly briefings about what to expect the next day. Although we had a planned itinerary, we we able to keep it flexible, and walk further on the days when things were easy which I appreciated. Overall a great trip, in some great mountains, with a great guide. Thanks Kumar.

Himalayan heaven with Kapil

Me and my boyfriend did the Annapurna ABC Base Camp for 9 days with our nice guide Kapil. After arriving to Kathmandu we got offer a package that provided us with hotel in Pokhara, busses and guiding etc. Kapil was meeting up with us the morning after to take us to the bus that took us to Phokara (a very bumpy and interesting ride). He made sure that we got everything for trekking and then we started walking. 9 days later and Kapil did a very good job with keeping a good tempo, feeding us well and smiled a lot. Next time we will guide him through Sweden! Thank u for a good experience Himalaya Hub Adventure.

my trip with the guide Kupal from Himalaya Hub Agency to the Annapurna Base Camp

Hello, following my recent tri^p to Kathmandu, to Pokhara and the Annapurna Camp Base I would like to leave that in guise of my very positive feedback concerning the quality service provided by Himalaya Hub Agency, and in particular the guide Kupal. First things first, I had to shorten at the last minute my stay in Nepal, by about 2-3 days and that made doubtfull the capacity for me to do the ABCamp, which takes more or less 7-9 days. I wasn't really what to do. The governement tourist official at the airport brought me directly to that agency, which in itself is a token of recommendation. There I had a good talk with somone in charge and he indeed carved a tour at my pace, within my time limits to the ABC and given that I liked also much to see the Pokahara lakes, he was also able to fit somehow the lakes too. Another thing of which I was very pleased, retropsepctively even more than before hand, is that the itinerary to the ABC was set up in the way to include a much more scenic afterall variant, from Phedi via Tolka to Landruk. As a guide I had Kupal. The guy was very nice, very forthcoming and took really care of things. He was really an asset, insofar as at this time of the year, even before the official beginnigs of the high season (in mid November), the ABC trail was much like a ZOO, too many people, overcrowded with a progressivelly dimininshing number of tea houses and increasing difficulties to find a bed and a blanket. People coming before us slept simply in tents outside. In the most difficult place - the ABCamp itself, where there were only 4 tea houses, he managed to find either a bed for me as well as a blanket. Another thing, given that I had had no experience in trekking in the Himalayas, even if I had had a good experience of trekking, I had hard time to find proper markings at crossroads, as in many cases there was nothing and the map was inaccurate, In this respect his presence was precious. In any case, he assisted me way back to Pokhara, and then to back to Kathmandu. The last day alone would be a very good pretext to put a good word for him, insofar as I had left on the bus from Pokhara back to Kathmandu a bag with the boots and some other things. After 8.5 h trip I simply forgot. He somehow was able to find a bus depot where the bus was serviced and we found the bag. It was hard, but it is only because of my guide that I have still those things with me. Overall I was very pleased, so this recommendation. best regards Derek A., Montreal

Great bunch of guys

My Himalaya hub experiences where great, I had a three-month visa, and I am retired, so I use them for many types of great experiences. From fixing me up with two great cultural festival experiences, one for five days the other for three days, that was fantastic. Then up we go to Annapurna trek, to Thorang la pass 5416mt, then a few days in Pokhara, my favorite city in Nepal, then Chitwan national park. Later to Everest, few more little trek around Kathmandu, back to Pokhara for paragliding and more.

Annapurna Base Camp (10 days)

Himalayas Hub Adventure was incredibly helpful by organising our accomodation, food, transport, and some equipment. Our guide Kapil, was above and beyond brilliant as on the way down from the base camp my knee started to give way. He helped in anyway he could and I am great full for that. Thank you very much for the great experience!
