Lower Manaslu Trek Not Too Hard But Still Rewarding
The Lower Manaslu Trek is not too hard but still really rewarding. I wanted mountain views without the extreme altitude and this trek gave me exactly that. Our guide from Himalaya Hub was excellent always making sure we had enough water and snacks. Dharche Danda at 3,220m was the highest point and the panorama there of Buddha Himal and Manaslu was stunning. Himalaya Hub is a trusted trekking agency and their attention to safety was impressive. Village tourism in Nepal at its best. Great service and great memories. I will definitely come back.
I did a 17 day Annapurna Circuit hike with one of their guides Sushil and it was amazing. Sushil was extremely attentive to all of my needs both on the trail and at the tea houses. He planned the next days hike with us the night before over dinner and made sure we had all the right gear and understood the route. Sushil was also very helpful with talking to locals and getting the best rooms for good prices.

Lower Manaslu Was the Hidden Gem
Everyone talks about Everest and Annapurna but Lower Manaslu was the hidden gem. The trek through Gorkha region was full of culture and nature and not many other trekkers. Our guide was so good he knew the village families and we were welcomed everywhere like guests. Himalaya Hub is the best trekking company in Kathmandu and their planning made everything stress free. Barpak village at 1,900m was rebuilt beautifully and the views from there are amazing. This is an authentic Himalayan experience and I felt so lucky to do it.
I am so happy I chose this over the Annapurna Circuit. The Lower Manaslu Trekking route is quieter and more personal. Himalaya Hub organized everything including the bus from Kathmandu and all the village homestays. Our guide was brilliant, funny, patient, and great with directions. The views from Gyampesal of the whole Manaslu range were incredible. This is a reliable trekking company in Nepal and I trusted them completely. The food in the villages was delicious and the people were so welcoming. This trek surprised me in the best way.
I needed a break from city life and this trek gave me exactly that. The Lower Manaslu Trek took us through villages where life moves slowly and people still greet strangers with smiles. Our guide was calm and thoughtful and always picked the best spots for tea breaks. Himalaya Hub is a local trekking operator and you can feel their connection to these communities. Sita Cave was a cool stop along the way. The whole trek felt authentic and far from tourist crowds. Best guide in Nepal experience. I am already missing it.
