Ulleri Stone Steps Were Challenging But Worth It

The famous stone steps from Tikhedhunga to Ulleri at 2,070m were definitely challenging - over 3,000 steep steps! My legs burned but guide Dawa set perfect rhythm with regular breaks. The sense of accomplishment reaching Ulleri was amazing. From there to Ghorepani at 2,874m was gentler. Poon Hill sunrise at 3,210m made every step worth it. The Annapurna panorama was spectacular. Himalaya Hub prepared me well for the challenge. Bring trekking poles! Tough but incredibly rewarding. Highly recommend!

Perfect First Trek in Himalayas

Ghorepani Poon Hill was my first Himalayan trek and absolutely perfect introduction. Moderate difficulty, well-marked trails, comfortable tea houses, and maximum elevation 3,210m meant manageable challenge. But the mountain views from Poon Hill were spectacular - entire Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges visible. Guide Bishnu was patient and encouraging throughout. The 4-day commitment was ideal for beginners. Himalaya Hub's support built my confidence beautifully. Best starter trek in Nepal. Now I'm hooked on mountain trekking. Highly recommend for first-timers!

Classic Poon Hill Sunrise Lives Up to the Hype

Everyone talks about Poon Hill sunrise and it absolutely lives up to every bit of hype. Standing at 3,210m watching Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre turn golden pink was breathtaking. The 360-degree panorama is truly world-class. Guide Ramesh secured perfect viewing spot and had hot tea ready. Ghorepani at 2,874m was cozy base camp. The 4-day trek from Pokhara was perfectly paced. Himalaya Hub's logistics were flawless. Iconic Nepal experience. Highly recommend!

Ghandruk Village Culture Was Fascinating

Ghandruk at 1,940m is the largest Gurung village in Nepal and the cultural immersion was wonderful. We visited the Gurung Museum showcasing traditional costumes, tools, and lifestyle. Local families welcomed us with warm hospitality and delicious dal bhat. The traditional stone houses with mountain backdrop were picturesque. Guide Prakash arranged cultural evening with Gurung dance. Poon Hill at 3,210m offered spectacular sunrise. Himalaya Hub's cultural focus enriched every village visit. Perfect combination of culture and mountains. Absolutely loved it!

Ideal Family Trek With Kids

We trekked Annapurna Panorama with our 9 and 11-year-old children and it was absolutely perfect for families. The trails were well-maintained, daily distances manageable, and Poon Hill sunrise at 3,210m thrilled everyone. Kids loved the tea house experience in Ghorepani at 2,874m and Ghandruk at 1,940m. Guide Dawa was wonderful with children, patient and fun. Himalaya Hub created family-friendly pace with shorter walking days. Best family adventure in Nepal. The mountain views impressed the whole family. Highly recommend for trekking with kids!
