I just finished the 13-day Manaslu Circuit trek with Dinesh as my guide, and he was amazing. He’s one of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve met, always patient, helpful, and fun to be around. Dinesh went out of his way every day to make sure the experience was the best it could be, and you could tell he truly cared about his guests. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide and highly recommend him to anyone doing the Manaslu Circuit.

With a group of four and our guide, Prem Dahal, we finished Manaslu circuit trek today. It was an unforgetable experience. The trek itself is breathtakingly beautiful, and I was satisfied with the organisation. Prem was an extremely friendly guide. He was very attentive, as he helped me fix my trekking pole, repair my shoe, and gave good tips for the high altitude. If you ask, Prem will always try to help you however he can. Additionally, you can see that Prem has a lot of experience (+15 years). At any point he knew how difficult it would get, how much longer to a teahouse, et cetera. For me, the only difficult part was the second day. Because of landslides, we decided to go up the hill through the forest, where there was no path. It took five hours, and because of the heavy rain, this approach felt a little too dangerous in hindsight. Still, I would recommend Himalaya Hub and Prem Dahal very much!

I booked the Manaslu Circuit Trek in advance with Himalaya Adventure Hub and everything went super smoothly. We got picked up from the airport and even received a small welcome gift, which was a really nice touch. The planning was very well organized and everything was clearly explained to us before we started. Our guide, Prem Dahal, honestly made the whole trek unforgettable. He has incredible knowledge about Nepali culture, the mountains, and the entire route, and he could answer every single question we had. He took great care of us, was always helpful and kind, and you could really feel that he loves what he does. All the teahouse stays worked out perfectly and the transport, including all bus rides, was well arranged. Thanks to the well-planned acclimatization, no one in our group had any problems with altitude sickness. On the acclimatization day, Prem was even ready to take us up to Manaslu Base Camp, which was an amazing extra experience. This trek was a unique adventure that I’ll remember for the rest of my life and a huge part of that is thanks to our guide, Prem Dahal.

We just completed the 12 day Manaslu Circuit Trek with Sushil as our guide, and it was INCREDIBLE! The trek itself was hard, but so so rewarding. The views were out of this world, and the nature and mountains on the Manaslu circuit can’t be beaten. I would 100% recommend this trek to anyone thinking about it. Our guide Sushil was everything you could want. He was with us every step of the way, providing support and motivation. He always made us feel safe, and helped us push ourselves to complete a once in a lifetime adventure. Also special shoutout to assistant guide Ram, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and looked after. On many days he would complete the day’s walk with the fastest in the group, then run back to carry the bags of others, and give them a helping hand. Karan was also great as a porter, there to give support and encouragement. All of our guides, Sushil, Ram and Karan were amazing, always with a smile on their face and sharing their happiness. They made this experience something spectacular! Completing the circuit gave us all such a huge sense of achievement. The views were out of this world, the bonds we made within the group will last a long time, and I will never forget these 12 days.

I did the 12-day Manaslu Circuit trek and it was absolutely amazing! Our guide and assistant guides were fantastic and made sure we had the best time. We had a group of 7 people. We would have had one guide but I shared a porter with another girl and one other member of the group had a porter, both of whom were also assistant guides. We were so happy that we did this as we couldn’t imagine our experience without them. It also gave us much more flexibility in our group as we had some really fast people, some really slow people and some average speed people in the group. Sushil our guide was great at trying to ensure that everyone in our group was happy with the pace and making adjustments so we could all go at our own speed. It was a tough job as the speeds within our group were so different!! He was a very experienced guide who organised things very well. He was always very quick to come up with solutions to any small problems we had. As well as being very good with all of the logistics, he was very funny and our evening briefings were always very full of laughter! Ram was the porter/assistant guide for mine and another girls stuff. He was so much more than this though. He worked so hard to ensure that everyone in the group was having the best time and he did so much for us. He would reach the tea house drop off our bags and then run back down the mountain to carry the daypack of a member of the group who was struggling. He really went the extra mile (figuratively and literally) for all of us. He was always full of energy and happy and smiling and he really made our experience so great. I was surprised that he was an assistant guide not a full guide as he was so good. I hope that he is a guide soon as he will be excellent. Then we had Karan, he was the porter/assistant guide for another girl in the group but he helped all of us, he was fantastic! He was only 18 so very young but his young energy was a great addition to the group dynamic. He made the trip a lot of fun, I really enjoyed our little local dancing sessions in the evening! He was always happy and smiling and really kept us entertained. All in all, each member of the team had their own qualities and everyone worked together to make sure we had a great time. They even managed to make potentially stressful situations fun such as when our private jeep at the end of the trip broke because it was overloaded so we had to take the public bus. Even though this was bumpy and overcrowded they still made it fun! The only slight negatives I have would be the communication prior to the trip. I was told that the first 3 days would be 5-6 hours walking or 6-7 but they were more like 10 hours. I was also told crampons/microspikes weren’t necessary but they were. I brought some just in case so thankfully it didn’t affect me. Many of the other groups we spoke to had had their guide come to their hotel the night prior to the trek to do a kit check. I would say that that would be something helpful to implement. Other than the few initial communication niggles from the office, everything else on the trek was perfect and I’m so thankful to Sushil, Ram and Karan for making our trip such an amazing one ❤️
