I completed a 14 day trek through the Langtang Valley and Gosaikunda region. The trek was organised via Himalaya Hub who were very easy and professional to work with and they sorted all required permits and guide for the trek. I was guided by Dilip Karki who was exceptional. He was attentive, kind and humorous which made the trek all the more enjoyable. Dilip is also very knowledgeable and talked about the history of the area we were in. He always showed me the best path through difficult areas and made sure my gear was set up correctly. He always found me the best rooms in the teahouse and relayed my meal order with the people at the tea houses. He was also very happy to take photos whenever I asked and has a knack for great photos. He was a joy to be around and the trek would not have been possible without him! I consider him a friend. Thanks Dilip!
We did the Langtang Valley trek and had a really great experience. We booked everything directly at the office, where the team gave us very helpful and competent advice. They helped us plan the trek according to our wishes and answered all our questions.
We were also able to rent some equipment through Himalaya Hub, which made the preparation very easy and convenient.
Our guide, Thukar, was incredibly kind and supportive throughout the entire trek. He guided us safely through the mountains, always made sure we were doing well, and took great care of us. He even kept our energy up by sharing cookies with us along the way!
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and can highly recommend Thukar, the team and the Langtang Valley trek!
Amazing experience on the Langtang Valley Trek with Thakur!
I had an amazing experience on the 8 day Langtang Valley Trek with our incredible guide, Thakur, booked through Himalaya Hub Adventure. Thakur went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience from start to finish. He was incredibly knowledgable, attentive and kind, and we always felt in safe hands whilst trekking each day. He also made sure we had everything we needed and always had a cup of tea in hand. I couldn’t recommend Thakur enough!
Sushil guided us during the Langtang trekking and we could not think of a beter guide, he was always clear about the planning.
We had few moments when the weather could become an issue but Suchil read the weather correctly and we still could go on with the trek.
Not to forget is his knowledge about the people and culture in the Langtang valley he learned during his long carreer as an guide.

Tamang Heritage trail and Langtang Valley trek.
Puru and Robin were our guide and porter for the Tamang Heritage trail and Langtang Valley trek. They were so kind throughout, checking in on us at higher altitudes and reminding us to go slowly to acclimatise better in higher altitudes. We had a great time and they answered our numerous questions about which mountain was which and when it was, indeed, actually a mountain. They also honoured our request to change from staying again at a teahouse in Lama Hotel that we hadn't liked to a different one and organised it all super quickly which was great. Always greeted us with smiles in the morning, made sure we were taken care of and, for our whole trek, we felt welcomed and in a friendly, comfortable environment.
