Great trip with great locals!

Bit expensive (Western tourist rates obviously) but really lived up to expectations. Big shout out to Dhruba and Suresh for showing me around when I was travelling solo through Kathmandu and Pokhara - they were great company and lots of fun. Real locals who know their way around. Turned up at the airport with a rucksack and they organised my whole stay for me - day tour around Kathmandu, plane ride around Everest, hiking up to Australian Camp in Pokhara Valley and a great night out after. Cheers guys!

Top Agency. Very friendly staff and fair price. Super tourgide Nirmal

The tourist Agency Himalaya Hub Adventure i can definetely recommend again. I booked a tour to Everest Basecamp and my tourgide Nirmal did an awesome job. He supported me wherever he could and even carried my sleeping bag. Tanks for that. The tourist agency has fair prices also and very friendly staff. The Hotel where i stayed is also very nice. Thanks for everything

Himalaya Hub organized my city tour, trekking, mountain flight

And it was great! I had a city tour in Kathmandu with their driver, then went to Pokhara for a 3-day trekking in the region with a licensed guide and finally had a mountain flight to see the Everest, and everything went perfectly fine. They also organized accommodation and transportation. Prakash, the manager, was very flexible when I needed to adjust a few things on my package. Now that I know he also offers Bhutan and Tibet trips (including visas), I will be organizing my next vacation with him again.

Everest Base Camp Trek - 14 days - Great Experience

we had always planned on trekking to Everest Base Camp, however we had not pre booked anything prior to arriving in Kathmandu. At the airport we ran into Puru from Himalaya Hub Adventures (which ordinarily I am very cautious of) however in this case he seemed quite genuine and offered to help us negotiate a taxi fare, which he did. Given this we thought we would hear him out. He took us back to his office and went through the standard plans for an EBC trek. It all sounded logical and we asked for a day to reflect. In this time we did some shopping around to gauge the price and determined that it was a good offer. As such we continued with the planning. We booked a 14 day EBC trek with local Lukla English speaking guide (from end of Nov through Dec). We also needed to hire gear (only sleeping bag and big down jacket) which we were able to do through Himalaya Hub. A word of warning – they use gear from one of the many local shops, and unfortunately it is very old. That said the jackets were quite good, the first sleeping bags we were offered were not good enough for a summer expedition let alone a mid winter Everest Trek. After notifying Puru he put us onto another shop which had much better gear for no extra cost so we were happy with this service. We got the flight to Lukla (just as good as everyone says it is) and our guide Pemba was there diligently waiting for us. He took us in, gave us lunch and we were off. The great thing about this tour is it is fully customisable i.e. you can do all inclusive with meals, accommodation, guide etc or any combo. We opted for the accommodation (with breakfast only for meals as you have to eat at the house you stay in) and a guide, however in hindsight on the mountain all the food and all the accommodation is the same, typically the same price and the rules state that you need to eat dinner and breakfast at your lodge or there is a surcharge, so in reality we should have just paid for the all-inclusive option and then not worried about money. Pemba was excellent. He was softly spoken, however we specifically asked him to tell us interesting facts about the geography, people and architecture and he willingly did so. His English was great, and he was very caring. He was always aware of our physical situation and how we were travelling and on the occasion that we did get sick (food poisoning at a lunch stop) he was more than happy to extend the trip by a day as we were already 9 days in and needed a break to recover before we climbed any higher so as not to make it worse. This was also great to know as we had heard stories of guides pushing people to climb altitude quicker than was recommended to get them through quicker. The reality of this is that altitude sickness kicks in and you end up very sick. Pemba paced us even encouraging us to slow down on the steep climbs so that our bodies could acclimatise better. Not having pervious experience at this altitude (5000m+) this was greatly appreciated. Long story short, it was great value and everything worked. Puru was responsive, accommodating as was our guide Pemba (even taking us to his home on the final day for tea with his family!) I would happily endorse this trekking company for anyone wanting a care free and SAFE trip!
