Staying in a homestay in Briddim village at 2,229m was the highlight of my whole Nepal trip. The family cooked for us and we sat together and talked through our guide all evening. Our guide was so good at making those connections happen. Himalaya Hub is a trusted trekking agency in Nepal and their community based trekking approach is something special. The Tibetan style stone village was so beautiful. Knowledgeable guides and porters who genuinely care about the experience.

Authentic Tamang Culture Trek in Nepal
I knew nothing about Tamang people before this trek. Now I feel like I understand a whole community. The Tamang Heritage Trail took us through villages where people still weave traditional cloth and perform ancient dances. Our guide was from a Tamang family and shared so much about his culture. He was so proud and so generous with his knowledge. Himalaya Hub is a professional trekking company and their cultural immersion approach made this trek so meaningful. Amazing experience in Nepal that changed how I see the Himalayas.
The famous yak cheese from the Kyanjin cheese factory at 3,870m was so good. We bought some and ate it right there with the mountains behind us. Our guide laughed at how happy we were about cheese. Himalaya Hub is a great local trekking operator in Kathmandu. The Langtang Valley Trek section was stunning. Best trekking company in Nepal.

Relaxing Hot Springs on Tamang Heritage Trek
After two days of walking the natural hot springs at Tatopani village were heaven. We soaked our tired legs and laughed and felt completely alive. Our guide found us the best spot and sat nearby while we relaxed. Himalaya Hub is a trusted trekking company in Nepal and they built in those rest moments perfectly. The Tamang Heritage Trek is so thoughtfully routed. Cultural stops, nature, hot springs, and then the big mountains of Langtang Valley. One of the best trekking agencies in Nepal without question.
Gatlang at 2,238m was the most picturesque village I have ever seen. Stone houses on a hillside with prayer flags and mountains behind. Our guide was so warm and knew every family there. Himalaya Hub is the best trekking company in Nepal. Hidden gem near Kathmandu for sure.
