I just finished my Annapurna circuit trek, and I have to say I had the time of my life.
I was accompanied by my wonderful guide Avishek (Obi) who was as informative and helpful as he was a lot of fun to hang with. Highly recommend him as a guide.
This trek with this company is a must.

Ram was a great guide
We did the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Ram and really had a great time with him. He is very professional and a well experienced guide! In the end we were so happy and that we decided to do the Annapurna Circuit as well with him. Thank you very much Ram for taking us to all these nice places and for being such a great person and guide!

Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Sandip and Iswor
My wife and I found Himalayan Hub Adventure on our way to our hotel. Puru, one of the owners, jumped in our cab with us. At first, we were a bit skeptical given how we met, but he was very nice, spoke English very well and did not push for us to commit to his company. He just invited us to stop by the next day.
We checked out a few other places prior to stopping by their office. We had also checked out their well reviewed trip advisor page. At their office, we met with Ram who was also easy to talk to and showed us what our trek would entailed. Prior to arriving to Nepal, we had already decided we were doing the ABC trek with a porter. We were on the fence about a guide, but we decided to hire one as well due to how busy October is in Nepal. We went with HHA because they had a good price and seemed to care the most.
Both our guide Sandip and porter Iswor were very nice and friendly. A lot of the guides we met on the trek were not interested in hanging out with their clients, but not them. They helped make our trek and teahouse experience that much better. They were always looking out for us and making sure we were ok. Being a couple they tried to get us double beds and our own rooms when possible which was very thoughtful. Overall, we had a great time in the mountains and looking forward to coming back again!
I have done the Annapurna Circuit with my guide Abishek during 14 days in october.
This trek is incredible. I cannot recommand it enough !
At first, I booked the trek with another agency but being without news, I went with Himalaya Hub. They were very flexible and I booked the trek and started the next day.
I'll try to summarize as clearly as I can my experience with my guide.
Pros:
- Abishek is a very nice guy. He is serious and he cares about you. He is very friendly and you can talk with him about any subject you want.
- He provided very good explanations about Nepal, its culture, the name of mountains ... He also help to discuss with Nepal people.
- With him, a lot of things are transparent for you : accomodation, he makes sure that your food is prepared ...
- In final, he listen to you and follow you on what you want to do.
- That's why he was very helpful and make a good guide. When you are travelling solo, that makes less stress and give you much more occasion to enjoy the trek.
However, there are a few things that can be improved. Not big deals, just my true feelings:
- My guide was young and there were a few parts that he didn't know. Nethertheless, we didn't get lost.
- So, as a consequence, sometimes (at few intersections), he insisted to take the road instead of the trekking trail. But, if you talk with him, he will still follow you on the trekking trail.
- He didn't book the hotels/lodges/bus in advance. For the bus, we had to wait and the departure was uncertain because there was the big Nepal festival that day and all the bus were booked. However, he find a place in the bus or in hotel/lodge.
The lodges were not always great (5-10% total) but not a lot of possibilities because all were full.
To conclude, I will recommand you to go with this agency if you not just looking for a buddy to walk but to live a true Nepali experience.
I won a competition held by Wild Earth, the prize of which was to do the Annapurna Circuit trek, flights and with gear supplied by Osprey. Awesome! 12 weeks of fitness training later (thanx Chase Tucker of BaseCamp) and was in Kathmandu. Not a spring chicken at 65 years old but I was fit, and with 20 years karate training under my belt. The team than coordinated everything was awesome: our Guide was Rupes and the porters Sandip, Newjom, and Narain for our team of 6 trekkers. Hotels, transfers, meals, tourist trips, jeep trevel and flights were all taken care of. We were waited on so had little to do ourselves. As issues and challenges arose (as they will) the team took it in its stride. One of our team was helicoptered out and it was all dealt with professionally. High praise all round. We had a wonderfully friendly time with the gang and laughs and jokes abounded. I could not have wanted it better. Not saying it was easy - you climb to 5000m of Tilicho Lake and 5400m of Tharongala pass and you hurt! But we did it, I did it, bloody marvelous. Top marks to the whole outfit and I highly recommend them for their skill, tenacity and endless fun. Love you guys! 😎🙏🏔🇳🇵
Great trek with Avi
